Consists of 50 hectares made up of a mixture of current and potential new development for industrial and other usage. A mixture of uses would include industrial, commercial and warehousing, with opportunities for new industrial development on the undeveloped lands within the current zoned area.

There are opportunities for new industrial developments as the subject site is zoned for industry under the Area Plan. The area comprises of several parcels of land – the ‘Redlands’ site, east of Coastguard Road, and a site on Curran Point. Redlands is the main part of the zoning and comprises of approx. 19.56ha developed for a mix of uses. Larne Port sits within a 11.37ha area of unzoned land currently in industrial use. 8.55ha of land remains undeveloped within the zoning. Existing accommodation includes a mixture of uses, including warehouse, industrial and retail operations.

The area is a mixture of industrial zoning and activities outside of the current zoning such as Larne Port itself.

Utilities

The site falls within the NI Gas Supply Network with provision for domestic and commercial gas supply in the area. The site is also serviced by Northern Ireland Electricity Networks. Northern Ireland Water is responsible for all domestic and commercial water and sewage services in the area.
