Ballymena Business Centre

Ballymena Business Centre is a Northern Ireland Charity and Local Enterprise Agency.

The Enterprise Team has over 35 years experience promoting enterprise and supporting new entrepreneurs as they take their first steps to start in business and guiding existing entrepreneurs as they explore business growth opportunities.

Each year Ballymena Business Centre supports 500 individuals and businesses through a range of interventions under the following three main pillars of support:

Business Property

Galgorm Business Centre: offers a total of 62 workspace units ranging in size from 700 sq ft to 2000 sq ft. Set in landscaped surroundings this vibrant Galgorm business centre offers an ideal location for manufacturing, engineering and tradeable businesses.

Town Centre Business Hub: located in Church Street Ballymena, this regeneration project provides 6 turnkey offices ideal for those starting and growing a business or for national businesses requiring a base for sales teams commuting or who would benefit from a dedicated office in the town of Ballymena.

Midtown Makers Shop: located in Church Street Ballymena, this prime town centre retail outlet provides Membership for Creatives from across Northern Ireland to network, exhibit and sell their arts and crafts and hosts Tourism Information Hub for local and international visitors.

Ballykeel Business Centre: this community owned facility offers a total of 25 workspace units ranging in size from 335 sq ft to 800 sq ft ideal for a wide range of business sectors and community services. Located in Ballymena South this community regeneration facility is located close to M2 motorway links providing easy access to Belfast and Coleraine.

Ballee and Harryville Community Enterprise: this community owned facility offers a total of 15 workspace units ranging in size from 400 sq ft to 1800 sq ft ideal for a wide range of business sectors and community services. Located in Ballymena South this community regeneration facility is located close to M2 motorway links providing easy access to Belfast and Coleraine.

Woodside Road Industrial Estate Ballymena: offers a 2.5 acre site with development opportunities for manufacturing and tradeable services.  An excellent site located in close proximity to the M2 motorway surrounded by leading international businesses.

Business Support Initiatives

Pre Start Up: reaching out to the local voluntary, community and education sectors to plant the seed of enterprise through seminars, workshops, case studies and best practice visits.

Business Start Up: delivery of start-up business programmes and wrap around support for those starting in business including business planning, workshops, seminars, test trading and networking.

Business Growth: delivery of business growth initiatives including advice, guidance and signposting services for tenant businesses and businesses located in the greater Ballymena area.

Economic and Community Regeneration  

Ballymena Business Centre is a Northern Ireland Charity. Income generate through property and business support enables reinvestment in the Ballymena area through new innovative capital and revenue projects. Team Members also give of their time and expertise as Committee Members on Local Regeneration Groups ensuring that enterprise is at the forefront of future plans and policies.
